Putting the Rogue in Prorogue

Harper got his one-month timeout. This is not a great precedent that’s been set today. What’s to stop him from doing the same next month, or the month after? No minority government will ever have to face a non-confidence vote again thanks to Harper’s grotesque extension of the power of the PMO. Shame on Her Excellency for facilitating this affront to democracy.

  1. I can’t wait to read her memoirs in a decade. What a fool.
