So much for the embargo

This is a picture that I snapped in Havana:

That’s a Coke I bought on the streets of Cuba’s capital city. I read the label and it appears that it was manufactured in Mexico. I suspect that it was a third party that imported it and not Coke. Nonetheless, I figure that the Atlanta-based Cola giant must know what’s happening. I mean Coke is ubiquitous in Latin America and surely they can account for the rest of their distribution. I suspect that Coke knows exactly what’s happening when regular orders are placed by the wholesalers/smugglers that bring their product to Cuba.
